Laser Link Red Hot 2 Review

Product: Laser Link Red Hot 2

Rating: 4.8/5

Overview: The Laser Link Red Hot 2 is one of the best rangefinders on the market and is one the works really well on the golf course. The one aspect that separates this product from others is its ergonomic design.

Instead of the normal box shape most rangefinders have, this one comes with a pistol shape. This makes the Red Hot 2 easier to hold and easier to use.

Plus, you get an easy to read LCD screen and accurate measurements of up to 1000 yards, which is more than anyone will ever need. If you’re a serious golfer, this is definitely a product you’ll want to consider.

The Red Hot 2 Is Very Easy To Use

Have you ever used a rangefinder or any piece of technology that was just to complicated to use? Sometimes it feels like you need an engineering degree just turn some of these devices on.

That’s not the case with this rangefinder, though. It turns right on and everything can be controlled with a push of a button.

Plus, it’s very easy to hold because of its pistol grip. All you have to do is grip it, turn it on and aim down the fairway. When you lock onto your target you’ll get notified and you’ll know exactly how far you need to shoot, within a yard of accuracy.

The screen is bright and you’ll be able to see all your measurements without any issues either. Even if it’s very bright or cloudy out, you’ll be set.

You Get More Distance Than You’ll Ever Need

Another aspect that makes this rangefinder more than worth it is you get up to 1000 yards of measurement. Not even the best in the world would need half of that, so it’s more than enough for you.

When it comes to smaller targets (like the flag), you get less distance but it’s still farther than you can hit it. With the flag you’ll get around 400 yards.

Because you get this much measurement, you’ll be able to plan your shots perfectly. You can look down the fairway and measure to a sand trap, the green or flag. This gives you the opportunity to get the lowest scores possible.

You’ll Know When You’ve Locked Onto Your Target

Another feature you’re going to like is the alert system that lets you know when you’ve locked onto your target. Not only do you get an alignment circle, this device vibrates when the yardage has been calculated.

You won’t have to wonder if you’re measuring the right spot because of this! You’ll be a 100% certain of how far you need to shoot and you’ll be able to get the perfect shot everytime.

Also, this device gives you your yardage very quickly. You won’t be standing around and holding up people behind you. Just point and get your readings as fast as possible.

It’s Extremely Accurate

Imagine having a rangefinder that’s consistently off by 10 or more yards. Unfortunately, some products on the market are off by this much.

Do you know how accurate the Red Hot 2? It’s accurate within a yard!

You won’t have to worry about being misled with bad information with this rangefinder. You’ll know exactly which club to use at all times.

Legal For All Tournaments

Some rangefinders come with a slope feature which reads the slope of an incline and decline. It then uses this information to give you your measurement after taking that into account.

This is a really convenient feature but it’s banned in tournament play unless the rangefinder you have can turn it off.

You won’t have to worry about that with the Red Hot 2, though. There is not slope feature with this rangefinder and you’ll be able to use it no matter where you’re playing.

Red Hot 2 FAQ’S

1) Question: How much does this product cost?

Answer: There really isn’t a price I can give you that’s the same everywhere – some retailers just price their products differently. I do know this is one of the more expensive rangefinders on the market.

I think this product is worth every penny of that price too. It’s high quality, very easy to use and will definitely help you shoot your best rounds possible.

2) Question: Where should I buy this rangefinder and can I buy it online?

Answer: This is the kind of product that you can buy in person or online. I personally would recommend buying it in person because you can try it out and see if it’s right for you. You can see if you like the way it works and if you like the way it functions.

You’ll go right to the Red Hot 2 purchase page if you click the red “Check Price Here” button up top. There you can read all the customer reviews and consider what nearly a hundred customers are saying about this rangefinder.

3) Question: Does this rangefinder come with a slope feature?

Answer: I mentioned this up top but it’s worth mentioning again – this product doesn’t come with a slope feature. The benefit of this is it can be used in all tournaments.

The downside is it won’t calculate slope when it gives you your reading. You can definitely live without this but it’s nice to have.

4) Question: What batteries does it take?

Answer: This device runs on a 9 volt battery. I personally like it when rangefinders run on a rechargeable battery because you won’t have to replace it nearly as much.

The fact the Red Hot 2 doesn’t is really the only downside of this product. But there is some upside to it running on a 9V. You can always bring along spares in case the battery dies, which isn’t the case with rechargeable batteries. If your rechargeable battery goes out it’s out for good.

This Is A Really Great Rangefinder!

There’s a lot of rangefinders on the market and some are high quality and some aren’t. Some will help you play your best and others won’t help you at all.

You’ll be happy to know the Red Hot 2 is a quality rangefinder and is a product that you’re going to love if you decide on. It does everything well and is extremely easy to use.
